BEAM Construction Associates, Inc. is a Design / Build Company formed in 1987 that offers complete site and building design, architectural drafting, master craftsmanship, and project management services.

We are a small, local corporation with three owner/associates. The owners - Bob Butcher, John Enright, and Tim Miner - are longtime residents of Sandwich, NH with a combined total of over ninety years in the construction industry. Our strong backgrounds in colonial architecture and traditional timber framed buildings date from 1972, and we particularly enjoy projects that include traditional timber framing.

Our personal interests in building are focused around the idea of affordable, highly energy efficient, attractive, and well-constructed housing. We are committed to the idea that custom built, energy and resource efficient housing is still possible, and more important then ever, in this age when so much new construction is uninspired by the future and uninformed by the past. We are striving to establish ourselves as the builders in this community most concerned with affordable, energy efficient housing, and we are committed to promoting renewable energy systems in their projects wherever client interest allows.

Since its inception, BEAM, Inc. has successfully integrated energy efficiency and style into all forms of construction, including many historic residences in the Sandwich, NH area. BEAM strives to design and build to ENERGY STAR standards, and actively seek clients of like mind. John & Tim live in homes powered by photovoltaic electric and solar hot water systems.
